The
Assignment Department manages the flow of all cases that come through the court
that have been assigned to one of the Parma Municipal Court judges.The office is divided into the Civil Division
and the Traffic/Criminal Division.
The Civil
Division controls the case flow management of all Civil
cases assigned to a judge.They handle
all correspondence related to Civil cases, generate & mail notices, prepare
the court dockets, and prepare journal entries as directed.
The
Traffic/Criminal Division controls the case flow management of all
Traffic/Criminal cases assigned to a judge. They assign cases to a judge after
an arraignment and plea from a defendant.They also handle all correspondence related to these cases, generate
& mail notices, prepare the court dockets, and prepare all journal entries
as directed.
*The Assignment
Department requires all attorneys to include their Supreme Court Attorney
Registration Number as the exclusive number identifier on all documents filed
with the Court.
