If you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, believe you may have been in contact with someone who has or if you are sick, please do not come to the Parma Municipal Court. The Parma Municipal Court is taking all necessary precautions to help avoid spreading illness and to protect the health well-being of the community at large. The Parma Municipal Court is instituting temporary modifications due to the COVID-19 virus to preserve the safety and public health of the community we serve. To help prevent gatherings of crowds, the Court is providing a temporary means to contest simple traffic violations.

In cooperation with the leaders of each of the communities encompassed in the Parma Municipal Court jurisdiction which includes Broadview Hts., Brooklyn, Brooklyn Hts., Linndale, North Royalton, Parma, Parma Hts. and Seven Hills the Court is temporarily allowing amendments of most two point moving violations to a no point violation for all citations waived at These waivers shall not apply to any violations involving a motor vehicle accident.

If you wish to plead Not Guilty, request a continuance or file any correspondence you may do so by emailing or fax (440) 887-7490. You must include the following information in all filings:



-Case number

-Ticket number

-Current address

-Phone number

If you are requesting a continuance or entering a Not Guilty plea, indicate in writing you are waiving time for speedy trial.

You may use the attached Traffic/Criminal Not Guilty-Waiver of Speedy Trial form. This document can be filled out and either mailed, faxed or scanned and emailed to the Court
